2026 Iowa Pet Breeders Association Annual Conference – March 12–14, 2026
The Iowa Pet Breeders Association is excited to welcome breeders, industry partners, and supporters to our Annual Breeder Conference at the Wild Rose Casino & Event Center in Jefferson, Iowa. This is more than just a meeting — it’s a chance for our community to come together, learn from one another, and engage in meaningful conversations about the present and future of responsible breeding.
What to expect over three days:
Thursday Evening (approximately 5:00–8:00 PM)
The conference begins with Welcome and Registration, followed by an opening speaker and an open breeder discussion. This evening is designed to set the tone for the event — a space for connection, conversation, and shared perspective before our main programming begins.
Friday – The Core Conference Day (approximately 8:00 AM–9:00 PM)
Friday is the centerpiece of the conference. Attendees can expect a full day of educational sessions, ongoing opportunities to visit with vendors, and the IaPBA Annual Meeting over lunch. The day concludes with our banquet and live auction in the evening — a highlight of the conference where members come together to celebrate the association, support our work, and enjoy time with fellow breeders.
Saturday Morning (approximately 8:00 AM–1:00 PM)
We wrap up with final speakers, additional vendor time, and a hands-on workshop focused on website design and photography. Attendees are encouraged to bring their laptops so they can actively participate and take practical tools back to their own businesses.
Each day offers valuable programming, but Friday is intentionally structured as the primary conference day for those planning their attendance.
Hotel Information
If you are planning to attend, now is a good time to book your room. A reduced IaPBA group rate is available at the Cobblestone Hotel in Jefferson through February 12. After that date, rooms may still be available at Wild Rose depending on availability, and there are additional hotels nearby for those who prefer other accommodations.
