Joining the Iowa Pet Breeders Association connects you with a statewide network of licensed, responsible breeders dedicated to doing things the right way. Members gain valuable support, increased visibility, and a stronger voice in the future of Iowa’s breeding industry.

Membership Types

Regular Member
For licensed dog breeders operating in Iowa.
You must hold a valid Iowa state license or USDA license (if required for your operation). Regular members have full voting rights, may hold office, and are eligible for listing in the IaPBA Breeder Directory.

Associate Member
For individuals who do not currently require an Iowa license — including breeders outside Iowa or those interested in supporting IaPBA’s mission. Associate members can access most resources and may assist on committees, but cannot vote or hold office.

Vendor Member
For companies that offer products or services to licensed dog breeders (equipment, feed, veterinary supplies, software, etc.). Includes visibility opportunities, event participation, and direct engagement with breeders statewide.
